Ismail Industries Limited is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical professional for the role of Assistant Manager – Demand Planner at its Head Office in Karachi to strengthen demand forecasting and drive cross-functional planning alignment. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing and managing short and mid-term demand forecasts at SKU, channel, and customer level, leveraging statistical models, historical trends, and market insights to enhance forecast quality. This role involves driving the demand review within the S&OP cycle, aligning Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain teams on a unified demand plan while consolidating commercial inputs such as promotions and innovations. The Assistant Manager will analyze forecast vs. actual performance, identify key variance drivers, track planning KPIs including forecast accuracy and service level, and support successful execution of product launches.

Eligibility Criteria

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field from an HEC-recognized university

• Experience: 3-5 years of experience in Demand Planning, Supply Planning, or S&OP, preferably within the FMCG sector

• Technical Skills:

  • Strong analytical capability with advanced Excel proficiency

  • Experience with planning systems such as SAP IBP/APO or Kinaxis

  • Knowledge of statistical forecasting models and demand planning methodologies

• Soft Skills:

  • Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional communication skills

  • Strong PowerPoint presentation skills to translate complex data into clear business insights

  • Ability to drive continuous improvement in planning tools and processes
