The Punjab Forensic Science Authority (PFSA), Home Department, Government of Punjab, is hiring for multiple forensic science positions including Manager (Narcotics & Toxicology), Forensic Scientists (various specializations), and Junior Forensic Scientists, offering competitive monthly salaries ranging from Rs.200,000 to Rs.425,000 with 10% annual increments on 3-year renewable contracts. Candidates with PhD, MS/MPhil, B.Sc (Hons), or BS degrees in relevant fields such as Chemistry, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Forensic Science, Pharmacy, Pathology, Histology, and certain engineering disciplines are eligible, with experience requirements ranging from 0–8 years depending on the position. Special quotas apply for Open Merit, Women (10%), Minorities (10%), and Disabled persons (10%), though only male candidates can apply for Crime & Death Scene Investigation and some specified posts.

Eligibility Criteria:

Manager (Narcotics & Toxicology):

• PhD in Chemistry/Pharmacy/Pharmacology + 5 years bench analyst experience

• OR MS/MPhil (2nd Division) + 8 years experience

Forensic Scientist:

• MS/MPhil or equivalent in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Forensic Science, Pharmacy, Pathology, Histology, etc.

• Minimum 3–5 years relevant experience in accredited forensic laboratory

• Some positions accept B.Sc (Hons) with engineering backgrounds

Junior Forensic Scientist:

• MS/MPhil (2nd Division) in relevant disciplines

• OR B.Sc (Hons)/BS in related fields

General:

• All degrees must be from HEC-recognized universities

• Only male candidates for Crime & Death Scene Investigation and some specified posts

• 10% quota for Women, Minorities, and Disabled persons
