Multan Electric Power Company (MEPCO) is seeking a results-driven and visionary Chief Legal Officer (CLO) for its Headquarters in Multan on a 3-year contract (extendable once based on performance, not exceeding 65 years). Candidates must hold an LL.B from an HEC-recognized university (LL.M or Barrister-at-Law preferred), be a licensed Advocate of the High Court (mandatory), with minimum 15 years of post-qualification legal experience including at least 5 years in a leadership role as head of legal affairs within a large-scale national/multinational corporate or public sector organization, OR 15 years of legal practice including minimum 10 years as an Advocate of the High Court. The role offers a market-based competitive salary package of up to PKR 1 million per month (negotiable based on experience) plus additional benefits, with strong command required over regulatory, corporate, commercial, labor, contractual, and procurement laws including NEPRA, SECP, PPRA, SOE Act 2023, and Companies Act 2017.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Education: LL.B from HEC-recognized university (LL.M or Barrister-at-Law preferred)

• License: Licensed Advocate of the High Court (mandatory)

• Experience (Option A): Minimum 15 years post-qualification legal experience with at least 5 years in leadership role as head of legal affairs in large-scale national/multinational corporate or public sector organization

• Experience (Option B): 15 years legal practice including minimum 10 years as Advocate of the High Court

• Age: Upper age limit 62 years at closing date (no further relaxation)

• Skills: Strong command over NEPRA, SECP, PPRA, SOE Act 2023, Companies Act 2017; expertise in PPAs, MoUs, EPC contracts, litigation management, arbitration, legal risk management
