CSS 2025 Result Announced by FPSC – 170 Candidates Recommended

The Federal Public Service Commission has officially announced the results of the Central Superior Services Examination 2025, with a notably low pass rate of around 2.6%, reflecting the high level of competition in Pakistan’s top civil service exam. Out of 12,792 candidates who appeared, only 355 successfully passed the written examination stage. Following the final selection process, the FPSC recommended 170 candidates for appointment, including 84 male and 86 female candidates, ensuring balanced gender representation.

According to the CSS 2025 merit list, Asad Rafiq secured the first position, while Muhammad Mohsin and Tariq Hafeez achieved second and third positions respectively. Punjab candidates dominated the top rankings, with a majority presence among the top 30, while Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Balochistan also secured positions. Most top candidates were allocated to prestigious groups like the Pakistan Administrative Service and the Police Service of Pakistan, whereas no candidate from the top tier was allocated to the Foreign Service.
