Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) has officially started admissions for the Autumn 2026 semester, where a bunch of BS programs are available, via its flexible Open and Distance Learning (ODL) setup and also through face-to-face sessions. The whole admission process kicked off on July 1, 2026, and for new applicants the deadline to submit the online application is August 10, 2026, so it’s pretty time-bound. AIOU is also moving toward market led offerings, like BS Computer Science, with specializations in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, plus other options such as E-Commerce, Psychology, and International Relations. These admissions aren’t limited to just one area either, they’re open for students across all provinces of Pakistan including AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan, and yes, overseas Pakistanis can apply as well.

Eligibility Criteria: 

• HSSC/Intermediate

• Minimum of 45-50% marks required for most BS programs.
