University of Punjab, Lahore has officially opened undergraduate admissions for the 2026-27 academic year, and yes it is taking online applications via its official portal . The cut off date to submit the application online is August 4, 2026 (11:59 PM) . The university is offering an expansive variety of more than 250 bachelor’s programs across different fields, from Engineering, Business, Sciences, Humanities, to Social Sciences , so basically it’s quite wide. Admission is handled mainly through academic merit, where the mandatory PU Admission Test carries 25% weight in the overall merit score .
