Counter Terrorism Unit (CTU) Gilgit Baltistan Police is inviting applications for 457 Corporal (BS-07) vacancies for both male and female candidates holding Gilgit Baltistan domicile, with selection based entirely on merit. This major recruitment drive aims to strengthen the CTU’s capabilities in counter-terrorism operations and law enforcement across the region, with selected candidates serving exclusively within the CTU and not transferable to other units. Successful applicants will undergo a rigorous selection process including physical endurance tests, written examinations, interviews, and comprehensive medical checks to ensure they meet the highest standards of fitness and capability. Positions are distributed across open merit (75%), women (5%), minorities (5%), and ex-servicemen (15%) quotas, with preference for retired SSG personnel.

Eligibility Criteria

• Nationality: Pakistani citizens with valid Gilgit Baltistan domicile

• Education: Minimum Matriculation from a recognized board (preference for higher education in IT/Computer Science or driving skills)

• Age Limit (as of last date):

  • General candidates: 18 to 23 years

  • Ex-servicemen: Upper age limit 40 years (must have retired within the last two years)

• Physical Standards (Male):

  • Height: Minimum 5 feet 7 inches

  • Chest: 33 x 34.5 inches

• Physical Standards (Female): Height: Minimum 5 feet 2 inches

• Quota Distribution:

  • Open Merit (Gilgit Baltistan): 75%

  • Women: 5%

  • Minorities: 5%

  • Ex-Servicemen (Retired SSG preferred): 15%
