Capital Smart Motors (CSM) has officially launched the JMEV EV3 in Pakistan, marking its entry into the country’s growing small electric vehicle segment. The compact all-electric hatchback was previously showcased at the Pakistan Auto Show (PAPS) and has now reached the local market with confirmed pricing and booking details. CSM has introduced the EV3 in two trim levels, with the standard variant priced at Rs. 4,899,999 and the upgraded variant at Rs. 4,999,999 as introductory rates. Bookings are scheduled to open in April 2026, with a reservation deposit of Rs. 490,000 required, although the exact booking date has not yet been announced. Customers who reserve a unit can expect deliveries to begin from July 2026, meaning an approximate three-month wait after booking.

The launch comes at a time when demand for electric vehicles in Pakistan is on the rise, largely driven by persistently high fuel prices and growing environmental awareness. Despite the official launch, the company has not yet disclosed complete technical specifications for the EV3. Key details such as battery capacity, motor output, driving range, and charging time remain unavailable at this stage. CSM is expected to release a full specification breakdown closer to the start of the booking period as part of its phased market rollout strategy.
