Pakistan Army has officially announced the 158 PMA Long Course for commissioning into the prestigious Pakistan Military Academy (PMA), Kakul, offering a golden opportunity for young, passionate, and patriotic male citizens to join the Pakistan Army as commissioned officers. Selected candidates will undergo rigorous two-year training at PMA Kakul before being commissioned as 2nd Lieutenants, serving the nation with honor and dedication across various branches of the Army. Eligibility Criteria

Nationality

• Male citizens of Pakistan

• Candidates from AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan are also eligible

• Dual nationality holders must surrender other nationalities upon final selection

Gender & Marital Status

• Gender: Male only

• Marital Status: Unmarried (Married serving personnel of Armed Forces over 20 years of age are eligible)

Age Limits

• Intermediate (FA/FSc): 17–22 years

• Graduates (2 years program): 17–23 years

• Graduates (4 years program): 17–24 years

• Serving Army Soldiers: 17–25 years

Physical Standards

• Minimum Height: 5 feet 4 inches (162.5 cm)

• Weight: As per Body Mass Index (BMI)

Education

• Minimum 60% marks in FA/FSc or equivalent

• Relaxation for Balochistan & FATA candidates: 55% marks acceptable

• O/A Level candidates must provide equivalence certificate from IBCC

Physical Test Requirements

• 1.6 km Run in 8 minutes

• 15 Push-ups in 2 minutes

• 15 Sit-ups in 2 minutes

• 3 Chin-ups in 2 minutes

• Ditch Crossing (7’4″ x 7’4″ with depth of 4′)
