Meezan Bank is looking to hire a qualified and experienced Mechanical Engineer for the MEP, Sustainability & HSE Department within the General Services Group at its Head Office in Karachi. The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining HVAC systems and optimizing the performance of various equipment including VRF systems, chillers, and split systems across the bank’s facilities. This role involves managing elevator operations and coordinating with vendors while ensuring strict adherence to safety standards.
Eligibility Criteria

Education: Minimum Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering from an HEC recognized institute/university; Preferably Master’s in Mechanical Engineering. Qualification in Islamic Finance will be an added advantage.

Experience: Minimum 8+ years of experience in the relevant field, with expertise in HVAC systems, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing), and facilities management.

Skills:

Strong knowledge of HVAC systems (VRF, chillers, split systems) and their optimization

Experience in managing elevator operations and ensuring safety compliance

Ability to oversee multi-location facilities and manage operational workflows

Strong vendor coordination and project management skills
