Pakistan Army’s Defense Security Force (DSF) has made an announcement about recruitment for Sepoy General Duty and also Sepoy Clerk, for male citizens across Pakistan, including AJK and GB. Eligible candidates are at least Matriculation for Sepoy GD and Intermediate for Sepoy Clerk. The age limit is 17½ years as of January 29, 2027 , with criteria that can feel a bit different depending on the role. Height rules also vary by position and region. For example, general candidates should have height of 5’6″ for Sepoy GD and 5’3″ for Clerk, but relaxation may be offered to candidates from Balochistan, Gilgit-Baltistan, FATA , and also sons of martyrs.

Sepoy General Duty:

• Qualification: Minimum Matriculation
• Height:
  • General Candidates: 5 feet 6 inches (167.5 cm)
  • Candidates from Balochistan, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Martyrs’ Sons: 5 feet 4 inches (162.5 cm)

Sepoy Clerk:

• Qualification: Intermediate (FA/FSc/ICS/I.Com) with a minimum ‘C’ Grade
• Height: Minimum 5 feet 3 inches (160 cm) for all applicants
