This result also extends Pakistan’s dominance over Australia, marking their third consecutive ODI series win against the visitors. Shaheen Shah Afridi was the standout performer of the series, delivering a brilliant spell and earning the Player of the Match award, while young all-rounder Arafat Minhas was named Player of the Series for his consistent all-round impact.

Australia Bowled Out for 157

Australia, captained by Josh Inglis, chose to bat first but struggled from the start and were dismissed for just 157 runs in 42 overs. The innings collapsed early after Shaheen Shah Afridi removed Matthew Short on the second ball of the match. Although Marnus Labuschagne and Alex Carey attempted to stabilize the innings, wickets kept falling at regular intervals. Inglis top-scored with a fighting 65 off 71 balls, but lacked strong partnerships from the other end. Pakistan’s bowlers dominated the innings. However, Babar Azam held the innings together with a composed 40 off 84 deliveries, building important partnerships in the middle overs. Despite losing wickets at regular intervals, Pakistan stayed in the contest thanks to key contributions from the middle order. The match turned in Pakistan’s favor when Shadab Khan and Abdul Samad built a crucial partnership under pressure. Shadab Khan remained unbeaten on 29, while Samad supported him with a steady 18 not out, guiding Pakistan to victory in the 42nd over.
