Sapphire Finishing Mills is hiring a skilled cybersecurity professional for the role of Deputy Manager – Information Security Specialist at its Corporate Office in Lahore to strengthen the organization’s cybersecurity and IT governance framework. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing and securing mission-critical IT services with a focus on cybersecurity, including vulnerability management, analysis, review of security events, incident response, and reporting. This role involves providing operational support within the security tool landscape, including SIEM, and maintaining and enhancing knowledge of cloud-based environments such as Azure, AWS, and Atlassian, along with security tools like Sentinel, Splunk, and Proofpoint.

Eligibility Criteria

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, IT, or any relevant field from an HEC-recognized university

• Experience: 5-7 years in Information Security with minimum 2 years in governance functions

• Technical Skills:

  • Expertise in cybersecurity management, vulnerability analysis, and security event response

  • Experience with SIEM tools and security tool landscape

  • Knowledge of cloud-based environments such as Azure, AWS, and Atlassian

  • Familiarity with security tools like Sentinel, Splunk, and Proofpoint

  • Strong understanding of information security policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance

• Soft Skills: Project management abilities, experience in developing security awareness programs, and strong analytical and reporting skills
