Sapphire Finishing Mills is hiring an experienced engineering professional for the role of Deputy Manager – Boiler/Utility Operations at its Raiwind-Manga Road facility in Lahore to lead performance, efficiency, and reliability across the plant. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations of high and low-pressure boilers and thermic oil heaters, along with utility equipment and systems including caustic recovery plants, absorption chillers, and compressors. This role involves monitoring plant performance, optimizing efficiency, ensuring compliance with safety standards and operating procedures, and maintaining operational logs and reports. The Deputy Manager will supervise operators and ensure proper shift management to maintain uninterrupted plant operations.

Eligibility Criteria

Education: BSc Engineering in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering from an HEC-recognized university
Experience: 5-8 years of relevant experience in utilities or industrial operations, preferably in textile or manufacturing industry
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of high and low-pressure boilers and thermic oil heaters
- Experience with caustic recovery plants, absorption chillers, and compressors
- Ability to monitor plant performance and optimize efficiency
- Knowledge of safety standards and operating procedures
- Strong supervisory and shift management skills
- Proficiency in maintaining operational logs and reports
