Sindh Social Protection Authority (SSPA) has announced a job opening for a Public Health Specialist in Karachi. This position is part of the “Strengthening Social Protection Delivery System in Sindh” project, which is financed by the International Development Association (World Bank). The role requires an advanced degree in Public Health, Health Policy, Epidemiology, or a closely related field, with eight years of experience in public health, particularly with exposure to MNCH service delivery and demand-side programs. The specialist will contribute to developing operational manuals, defining verification protocols, and integrating health information systems with MIS. This is a project-based contractual opportunity with the Government of Sindh’s Social Protection Department.
Eligibility Criteria:

Advanced Degree in Public Health, Health Policy, Epidemiology, or closely related field from HEC-recognized university .

Eight (08) years of experience in public health, with exposure to MNCH service delivery in Pakistan/Sindh .

Experience with demand-side programs such as conditional cash transfers or results-based financing is a plus .

Familiarity with health information systems (DHIS2/HMIS) and integration with registries/MIS .

Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder coordination skills.
