There are vacancies available for Deputy Director – Settlement Division (OG-3) , which is permanent, and also for Innovation Hub Technologist which is on a contract basis at SBP’s headquarters in Karachi. If you have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (16 years of education) in a relevant field from an HEC-recognized institution, you’re being invited to apply. Innovation Hub Technologist
- Qualification: Bachelor’s or Master’s (16 years of education), preferably in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Systems, or a related discipline.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in enterprise application development or implementation.
- Age Limit: Maximum 40 years (as on the date of advertisement).
- Contract Type: Contractual.
- Location: Karachi.
Position
Key Responsibilities:

Manage accounting entries in the new RTGS system (PRISM+), ensuring integration with T24, Oracle, and CSD platforms

Apply SWIFT (MT) and ISO 20022 (MX) standards for high-value payments and settlements

Implement settlement models (DVP, DVF, PVP) per system protocols

Lead corporate IT needs collection, analysis, and rationalization

Prepare budgets and business cases for budget approval

Conduct independent research and arrange meetings with OEMs about latest products and technologies

Partner with Innovation Hub participants from onboarding through go-live
