HABIBMETRO is hiring an experienced banking professional for the role of Unit Head – TBML (Trade Based Money Laundering) Monitoring at its Compliance – Head Office in Karachi. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring the development and updation of TBML-related policies and procedures in line with SBP guidelines and monitoring their implementation across the organization. This role involves assisting the Head of FCC in identifying new regulatory areas related to foreign trade, providing consultative advisory to staff on TBML issues, and ensuring the implementation of transaction monitoring mechanisms to identify red flags in foreign trade channels.
Eligibility Criteria

Education: Bachelor’s degree from an HEC-recognized university

Experience: 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in banking compliance, anti-money laundering (AML), or trade finance monitoring

Grade: AVP-II to AVP level position

Skills:

In-depth knowledge of SBP regulations and TBML guidelines

Expertise in transaction monitoring systems and red flag indicators

Strong analytical and investigative skills

Experience in preparing and reporting Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs) to FMU

Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
