Daanish Schools Jobs 2026 in AJK and Gilgit Baltistan

The Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training has announced various vacancies for eligible candidates at Daanish Schools, Bagh and Bhimber (AJK), and Ghanche, Sultanabad, and Astore (Gilgit-Baltistan), as reported in the newspaper in September 2026. The recruitment drive aims to appoint Principals (equivalent to BS-20) and 13 types of subject teachers (DS-16) at Daanish Schools. The vacant positions of Principals and teachers would be filled on a contractual basis, i.e., 2+2 years, and 3-year renewable contracts, respectively.

Eligibility Criteria

Principal (BS-20) – 05 Posts

• Position: Principal (BS-20)

• Qualification: Minimum 16 years of education (Master’s degree, 2nd Division) from an HEC-recognized institution
• Experience: Minimum 17 years of experience as Principal or senior faculty member
• Age Limit: Up to 63 years
• Salary/Scale: BS-20 equivalent + one extra basic pay per month
• Locations: Bagh, Bhimber (AJK), Ghanche, Sultanabad & Astore (GB)
• Contract: 2+2 years, extendable

Teaching Posts (DS-16)

• Position: Subject Teachers (DS-16)
• Posts: 04 per school (02 Male / 02 Female)
• Qualification: 16 years of education (Master’s/BS/BSc Hons/BA Hons) in the relevant subject
• Division/CGPA: Minimum 2nd Division; CGPA 2.50/4.00 or 3.50/5.00
• Experience: Not specified
• Age Limit: Up to 50 years
• Locations: Bagh, Bhimber (AJK), Ghanche, Sultanabad & Astore (GB)
• Contract: 3 years, extendable
