Dr. Ziauddin Hospital provides an interesting opportunity to work as Assistant Manager – Compounding Pharmacy Services, advertised in August 2026 at its Head Office (North Campus), Karachi. Among the main responsibilities will be the management of key performance indicators, tracking the workload figures, assistance in developing cost controls, coordination with the procurement and financial departments, as well as guaranteeing the availability of chemicals for compounding formulas. The applicants should hold the Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm-D) degree (preferably MBA) along with 4-5 years of practical experience in the area.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitoring of compounding work load, productivity, waste and quality
- Monitoring KPIs of the compounding pharmacy department
- Recording of work load statistics on daily and monthly basis
- Helping in pricing of new compounding products
- Helping in cost control through waste reduction and monitoring of nearly expired stock
- Working in collaboration with procurement, store and finance departments for smooth working
- Maintaining protective clothing and GMP compounding
