Admissions have been announced by Pakistan Institute of Fashion and Design (PIFD) Lahore for PhD in Design & Design Management for 2026 intake. Applications are invited for PhD program in Design and Design Management. The last date for submission of applications will be September 8, 2026. An aptitude test is to be taken on September 13, 2026. The aptitude test will be conducted only at the Lahore campus of PIFD. All the applicants are required to pay a non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 2,000. Prospective applicants should apply online at the official website of PIFD.
Eligibility Criteria
- PhD in Design Management:Minimum CGPA of 3.0/4.0 or First Division in MPhil/MSc/MS (18 years of education).
- Degree must be from an HEC-recognized institution.
- Relevant fields include Design, Management, Marketing, or related disciplines.
- At least one year of professional work experience after completing the 18-year degree is required.
- PhD in Design:Minimum 18 years of education in Design or a relevant field.
- Minimum CGPA of 3.0/4.0 or First Division.
- Candidates with 16 years of education and a minimum CGPA of 2.5/4.0 may also apply under Intra-Disciplinary Qualification, according to HEC guidelines.
- Entry Test Requirement:Candidates must pass the PIFD Aptitude Test equivalent to GRE/HAT General with at least 60% marks.
- Alternatively, applicants may submit a valid test score from an HEC-accredited testing body.

- Appearing in the Test: Appear in the aptitude test which is scheduled on September 13, 2026 at Lahore campus.
